Waterproofing basements and cellars is often referred to as ‘tanking’ - which is - as its name implies - just that ; by creating an interval tank inside a structure, this keeps water and dampness out. Internal tanking works can be carried out in different ways to create a waterproofed, dry and habitable space.

Works are progressing at our Newhall Street site for NCP. Following a site survey of this car park, numerous defects were found to the soffits, drive aisles and parking bays. Cemplas are conducting concrete repairs to these areas with a phasing plan in place to ensure the busy car park can remain open.

Cemplas were called upon to advise on the condition of this structure and to install a method of waterproofing to ensure the main memorial sanctuary pond was able to contain water as well as prevent external ground water contaminates from seeping through the structure and into the pond. It’s always exciting getting to see the finished results of a project after our works are complete! The basement at Dene Park was fully re-waterproofed by the Cemplas team using a Sika Render System so that it could be turned into a wine cellar. The space has been well and truly transformed!

It’s another great performance from our team! Water Street Car Park has now been completed! 🚨 Rapid Response 🚨 We have completed a 48-hour rapid response for the Maintenance Team of a Supermarket’s Warehouse to provide repairs and slip resistance to the floors. All work was carried out during Sunday night to avoid disruption to the clients operations.

Some TLC was required! We are currently on site at Q-Park’s Riverside MSCP, Sheffield as Principal Contractor. We will be completing a series of concrete repairs and installation of fleece reinforcement to all areas of potential movement, prior to the application of Tremco’s Deckshield waterproofing system to the two top levels and ground floor levels of the car park.

We have recently completed the car park refurbishment works at Lowestoft Police Station as Principal Contractor, where we have installed Sika’s RB58 deck waterproofing system to the top deck, ramps and underground car park. Also included in our package of works were concrete repairs to the underground car park and linemarking throughout. What a transformation!

We can’t believe it’s been 12 months since our 50 years in business anniversary celebrations. Our 51st year has been busier than ever too!

Works are progressing on site at Haverstock Hill, Camden, which is being refurbished into a mixed-use development of flats and offices. We are installing a Delta cavity drainage membrane and slurry system to the walls and floors of the basement and ground floor. This is what we do! Repair, Protect and Transform!
