As part of our Rolling Back the Years series here’s a look back at our project at the Serious Fraud Office HQ.
Due to Health & Safety issues, major concrete repairs were required to the dilapidated in-situ concrete external staircase of this 1960s building which were found to have large areas of spalling concrete falling away, and steel landings which were heavily corroded & deemed unsafe.
Repair areas were identified and treated including undertaking hand placed repairs; an overall levelling coat was applied followed by two coats of anti-carbonation protective treatment. Works were completed using the Sika Monotop Repair System.
