Our Northern Regional Team has recently delivered a turnkey package of refurbishment works at Dukes House, Southport carrying out a full suite of concrete repair and protection measures including corrosion management to the lower basement of this multi-storey office building.

Corrosion management measures included the use of Sika’s Galvashield Anodes with exposed concrete elements of the structure protected with Sikagard 550W anti-carbonation coatings.

The surface car park directly above the basement was re-waterproofed using the Sikalastic 8800 podium deck system followed by a wearing course of HRA complete with thermoplastic linemarking & instructions.

The outdoor seating areas was reinstated over Sika’s RB58 deck waterproofing system encapsulated underneath the original paving slabs.
